| “The time has finally come that I am on my own and faced to be independent and responsible, but I am so carefree. I am living in a country that the whole world hates, yet I am invincible. I am in the center of the world- a war zone- yet I am in the safest place in the world. Ironically, I am truly happy, because at the end of the day I am home.” -Diane Catton |

| “A little over a year ago, in the summer of 2009, my wife Leah and I made the decision to send our oldest daughters, Barbara and Rosie, to the Midreshet Eshel Program for girls in Israel, for the upcoming year. Although understandably apprehensive to send our daughters to a start-up school, it is a decision that we don’t and will never regret. At Midreshet Eshel, they received a well rounded and diversified Torah education. They also were given a nice share of cultural courses such as dance and authentic cooking. All of this was provided by a caring, well educated, experienced and hands-on staff, with whom they have remained in touch. Behind everything was the Eshel secret weapon, Director Miriam Tawil.
Midreshet Eshel provided our girls with a heavy dose of hesed opportunities – with one whole afternoon a week and numerous other events dedicated to charitable activities. Above all, and by design, they were given a love, understanding, and appreciation of the land of Israel.
All in all, our daughters matured, learnt responsibility, developed as God-fearing young Jewish woman, forged friendships, and had the experience of a lifetime which they will never forget.” |
| “Being in Midreshet Eshel and living in the Old City really gives you a feeling of spirituality and closeness to Hashem. I’ve never had this true feeling of happiness instilled in me more than I do today! The administration is like family- they make us feel at home. I’ve made such genuine friendships here that I know will last for a long time. I feel so privileged to be in this school. They treat us like we are their own children. There’s no such thing as homesick when you’re living in Israel- your first home! This experience will stay with me forever. I have never appreciated something more!” -Raquel Betesh |

| “Midreshet Eshel is a great school that has so much to offer. The classes are very inspiring and make you want to change to become a better person.” -Rosie Matalon |
