Tikkun Olam

Tikkun Olam – “Fixing the World” is an idea that we put into action by offering a choice of Hesed projects to help our fellow Jews. On a weekly basis students will dedicate one afternoon a week to volunteer work.

Students are given the choice to volunteer within a variety of sectors including working with underprivileged children, the elderly, new immigrants, the developmentally disabled, and the poor. The intention of this program is to recognize and cultivate students’ sense of responsibility and innate motivation to give of themselves to others throughout their lives.
