Rabbi Ari Ze’ev Schwartz is originally from Sydney, Australia. After completing high school at Moriah College, he studied in the University of New South Wales majoring in music and film before coming to Yeshiva Aish HaTorah in Israel, where he spent three and a half years learning in the advanced Beit Midrash program. He then went on to pursue his Rabbinical Ordination at the Sheheber Sephardic Center in Jerusalem, studying under HaRav Yaakov Peretz, while at the same time studying at Hertzog’s Teachers College and completing the Isralight Leadership Training program under the auspices of acclaimed author and lecturer Rabbi David Aaron. Rabbi Schwartz is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Jewish Philosophy and Education at Hertzog College. He has previously taught Jewish Philosophy, Chasidut and Tanach at Yeshiva Orayta, Midreshet Yeud and is currently the Head Rabbi for Bnei Akiva’s Hachshara program. Rabbi Schwartz lives in Jerusalem with his wife and two daughters.
