Rabbi Cohen was born in Gibraltar and at aged 19 went to study in Mikdash Melech Jerusalem. After he got married he lived in Kiryat Sefer for a few years learning in Kollel. In 2005 he became the assistant principal in Mikdash Melech where amongst other things teaches Gemara and Chumash. Besides teaching Sefardi halacha in Eshel since December 2017 he also teaches in Tomer Devorah Seminary Sefardi halacha and hashkafa. Rabbi Cohen lives in Jerusalem with his family.
